There are various components under Management Information System. Some of them are as follows:

Computerization: Water and Sanitation Support  Organisation (WSSO) provides support for computerization of PHED offices up to Sub – Divisional Level. Water Testing laboratories under PHED are also supported with computers and other infrastructural facilities for smooth functioning of the laboratories.

Networking: Water and Sanitation Support  Organisation (WSSO) make arrangements for providing internet connectivity to PHED offices and water testing laboratories  up to Sub-Divisional Level.

Grievance Redressal Centre (GRC): A Grievance Redressal Center is functioning at WSSO, PHED, Assam to take up public grievance on issues related to drinking water and sanitation. The toll free no of Grievance Redress Center, PHED, Assam is 1800 12345 74.

For publicity of the Toll Free no WSSO has broadcast bulk SMS through various mobile subscribers of Assam circle.
